Description of the Game
If you saw the creature in the feature photo, that little guy has absolutely nothing to do with this post. He is a permanent resident at the Museum of the Weird in Austin, Texas. In this case, his purpose is to merely catch your eye and increase the probability that you will open and read this post.
This blog is about exploring and sharing obscure Americana. However, in all my travels, I can not help but stumble upon sites with real historic significance. As any good tourist, while I am in the area, I do not pass up the opportunity to visit these noteworthy attractions. So, I decided to share some of these stops in the form of a CHALLENGE – Name That View. The pictures below show the exact sight line that someone saw just before a HUGE historic event. Your job is to put yourself in the location of the photographer. Then, look along this historic view and…
