Well, I hope you realize how easy this CHALLENGE truly was…
Where is Carol? Its written on the beer…LaCrosse Lager. Carol is in the great beer city of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
What is the brewery? It is currently called the City Brewery. But, I would have accepted the previous name of G. Heileman Brewing Company

The City Brewery, or G. Heileman Brewery Company, has been a historic landmark of La Cross since the 1850s. Within this brewery is a wealth of beer history. Let’s start with 1902 when Old Style Lager is created and brewed here. Many of the great, “get drunk – cheap beers” were brewed and packaged here at some point. These beer legends include, but are not limited to, Black Label, Schmidt, Olympia, Rainier, Schmidt, Wiedemann, and the greatest of all…Blatz. Due to Covid, the brewery was not offering tours. Therefore, Carol and I could only loiter outside and bask in the beer history.

I could not resist collecting another selfie with Gambrinus, the King of Beers. Furthermore, this Gambrinus selfie represents the third different Gambrinus that I have been photographed with. So, I will be searching to add to my collection. Undoubtedly, Wisconsin is all about beer. This place is a shining example of their proud and storied history. Have a wonderful day. PT
