Traveling with PugsleyTonks

Traveling with PugsleyTonks is about the pursuit of that little slice of Americana. It's not big name or high-cost tourism. PugsleyTonks likes to find that little known tourist trap…that diamond in the rough attraction…the hole in the wall restaurant…or the special dive bar serving PBR. So, please come and join me in my search for Americana. All are welcome and its really just good, clean travel fun. PT

Laughs & Giggles

Happy Thanksgiving from PugsleyTonks

Thanks

There are many large and important things that I have to be thankful for in my life. But, that does not mean that I can not be thankful for a few small things as well. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supports me by visiting and reading my blog. And, I wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

RESTROOM HUMOR

Now, for those of you that looked beyond the picture, this post continues. Ideally, I would have liked to create a travel post with a Thanksgiving theme. However, I got nothing. Plus, you have better things to do than read a long winded post on Thanksgiving. Instead, I offer up some completely non-Thanksgiving related humor with very little reading. As I travel about, I take pictures of humorous and unique restroom signs that I run across. Here is a few choice selections…

THE GAME

Slightly more important than Thanksgiving, THE GAME also occurs this weekend. So, it seems appropriate to share some things from the restrooms at Urban Meyer’s Pint House restaurant in Dublin, OH. Yes, it’s the one he got in trouble at…

Random Restroom Signs

Enough said? I will do no more on the team up north. How about a couple of my favorites signs…

Clever Door Signs

Beyond great signs, sometimes the humor is on the door itself. How about some maritime humor from some bar in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Although I have shared this one before, it’s still my favorite. Some politically incorrect humor from the Heart Attack Cafe in Las Vegas, Nevada…

I hope you have enjoyed my restroom humor on this holiday. If not, have a Happy Thanksgiving anyway. PT

p.s. And if you have not already done so, please join my annual Thanksgiving tradition of watching the greatest TV comedy scene of all time…
