Traveling with PugsleyTonks

What is Traveling with PugsleyTonks all about?? My goal is the pursuit of that little slice of Americana. It's not big name or high-cost tourism. PugsleyTonks likes to find that diamond in the rough or go to the out of the way small town. I want to visit the oldest bar in every state with hopes that they serve some PBR on tap. Find that unique "ma-pa" restaurant with an interesting blue collar atmosphere and large portions to match. Or, perhaps its as simple as a little walkabout in the city to discover that strange little statue or other oddities. So, please come and join me in my search for Americana. Discover some obscure attraction or learn some useless information. All are welcome and its really just good, clean travel fun. PT

Where’s Carol? – A Thanksgiving Prelude

It’s all I could come up with

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s much less hassle than Christmas. There is just a simplicity to Thanksgiving that I like. You give thanks. Then, focus on the 3 F’s…family, food, and football. Your preferred adult beverage is also important, but it did not start with F. Anyway, I wanted to do a Thanksgiving themed blog post. I wanted to share something interesting, then wish you Happy Thanksgiving. Well, I got nothing. I could not think of anything Thanksgiving related that would be blog appropriate. But, I am forging on anyway. This CHALLENGE has nothing to do with Thanksgiving. However, you only have until Thanksgiving to figure out Where’s Carol. Then, on Thanksgiving I will reveal the answer and have and excuse to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

On to the CHALLENGE

The 4 pictures below show Carol in an undisclosed location. Each picture has enough information within it to reveal the city at the very least. Any travel scholar should be able to figure out most of them. So without further adieu…

WHERE’S CAROL?

There you go

Each picture has all you need to guess the location. Please put you answers in the COMMENTS section below. I will offer up the answers early morning on Thanksgiving, just before I put the turkey in the oven. PT
